Testimonials

I lost my husband 5 years ago and life went on in an empty sort of way but everything was an
effort. Work became more pressurised and eventually I reached breaking point. A friend of mine recommended Jonathan, as she had been to see him through CRUSE Bereavement a few years ago. I was very skeptical of counsellors but thought that if he had helped my friend (she was a tough nut to crack!) it was worth a try. I was amazed to find even after the first session how much better I felt.

Bereavement Counselling, Retired Teacher, Wiltshire

“Since receiving counselling from Jonathan my life has turned around completely; he has taught me how to reflect, take control, make decisions and say NO! I am at last enjoying life and all that it throws at me rather than panicking and reacting negatively to new situations.

The support provided has been undivided and reassuring at every turn. He has patience, energy and a calming nature make his ability to change a persons’ life from one turmoil to one of strength and easy transition”

Counselling, Hr Director, Wiltshire

When my father died, I felt lost and struggled to cope with every aspect of my life. Jonathan
was recommended to me by a friend and, although we’ve never met in person, he has helped me to reach a much better understanding that the emotions I’m experiencing are part of the natural grieving process and how they affect the rest of my world. I feel as if I have learned a lot about myself and my relationships with friends and family as a result of our sessions.

Even though I live in the U.S near Chicago, and we are separated by thousands of miles and six
time zones, by using Skype and our webcams, it’s almost as if we are in the same room.

Jonathan’s ability to read emotions was not at all impaired by the distance between us. The
results of my sessions are tremendous. I’m much happier and I’m sleeping better than I have in
over a year. I enthusiastically recommend Jonathan to anyone who has suffered loss because I am confident that he can help them manage the changes in their life and help them to see a brighter future.

About me and my approach

My belief is that people are essentially good and we all have an ability to grow emotionally, solve our problems and achieve our potential.

When things go wrong in our lives our “logical mind” goes into “catastrophe mode” and we experience negative thoughts that make us feel stuck, under-confident, frustrated and worried about the future (i.e: sad, angry and fearful).

As a BACP-Accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor, I use an Integrative approach to help clients’ feel safer, calmer, more supported and restore their ability to move forward with their lives again.
